Brodie
A lifelong gamer that spends too much time thinking about how and why creative decisions and mechanics were made in games and not enough time getting better at said games. Favorite games include Castlevania: SoTN, Zelda: BoTW, Diablo 3, Unfinished Swan, and the Destiny franchise. As of 2019, I’m also an avid Board Game fanatic that’s always playing something new. Favorites include: Wingspan, Fantasy Realms, Roll Player, Dune: Imperium, and Silver & Gold. When I’m not playing games, you can find me doing some light creative writing, listening to podcasts, or being at least two years behind on music.

I’m an avid PC gamer that loves action/adventure/RPGs and, more recently, developed a love for roguelike type games. Some of my all time favorite games are: Turtles in Time for the SNES, Diablo II, Pokemon SoulSilver, Call of Duty 4, Mass Effect 2, Skyrim, GTA5, and Stardew Valley. I know, I’m a bit all over the place when it comes to games. Besides being a gamer, I love to travel, experience new cultures and foods, and annoy my husband by buying more plants for our home. :)

I always wondered if I would be more at home inside of video games, rather than Earth. It’s fun to be an alien in 2021, because video games have gotten so much better over time. If I’m not losing my life in FFXIV, you will probably find me playing or gushing over: FF7, NieR: Automata, Super Mario 64, A Link to the Past, Bioshock, Portal 2, Ori and the Will of the Wisps, Persona 5 Royale, or anything with a spiky-haired protagonist in it, really. I also have the greatest wife in the world, who is the owner and operator of Wholly Good (wholly-good.com), two awesome dogs, Sammy and Finn, and an unstoppable addiction to Chipotle.

I’ve been a nerd my whole life. A big part of that has been my love of games. This includes the weird Lego-based Diablo RPG I invented to play with his brother as a child. (Sorry Brodie, I don’t remember the rules) Some of my favorite video games are: the Mass Effect Trilogy, Super Metroid, The Binding of Issac, and Borderlands 2. I’ve been a Magic: the Gathering player since 1994. I was also briefly a professional Dungeon Master. Outside of gaming, I enjoy going to concerts, finding the best restaurants in Detroit, and trying, but failing, to do a kickflip

Yes my name is Gannon. No its not after Legend of Zelda. My parents aren’t that cool. I play a variety of games but have spent most of my time playing cooperative titles. Games that have defined me as a player are: CounterStrike (in all forms), Destiny, and the Mana series. Currently starting a FFXIV addiction that is starting to affect my ability to human. Sorry I don’t have more to say….Gotta get back to the grind.
